Unit N2C2 – Construction Health and Safety Practical Application

Course Recognition The NEBOSH National General Certificate meets the academic requirements for Technician membership (TechIOSH) of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and Associate membership (AIIRSM) of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).
Assessment and Qualification Units NGC 1 and NCC 1 are taught units each assessed by one two-hour written examination. Each written examination consists of ten ‘short-answer’ questions and one ‘long-answer’ question. All are compulsory. Candidate’s scripts are marked by external examiners appointed by NEBOSH. Unit NCC 2 is assessed by one two hour practical inspection of a construction workplace which is designed to test the candidate’s ability to complete a health and safety assessment and produce a management style report on their findings.
